September 8th, 2006 - The Loss of Kenny Reebe

We at Long racing lost not only a friend but a good man. When I first started racing back in 1984 we were a low buck team looking for any help we could get. For years this man built our engines out of spare parts and basically junk we could scrape together. The best part is all the top engine builders and high priced motors we couldn’t afford we ran side by side with for many years and if it wasn’t for him we would have never stayed

racing. He never charged us a dime!!!!!!

This is my 21st year racing and now moved to the NASCAR Modifieds in 1997. (From DIRT) As time passed we were able to afford some good equipment but that never stopped our friendship and his dedication to come to the tracks and help us maintain the motors every time we raced and offer his advice and experience to help us run the best we could.

We won many races with Kenny by our side and for me it we not only lost a friend but we lost a family member. I will be indebted to him for the remainder of my racing years.

I will miss him dearly. There are no words to describe this loss at this time or the generosity and caring person he was.

Respectfully Yours,
